KAOM is partnering with OPSO, GOMA, IOPA, MAOPS and WOMA - its fellow osteopathic medicine associations to bring you a high caliber virtual conference designed to meet your CME needs! General Medicine topics include Anticipating and Preparing for the Next Pandemic: Catching Common Cancers: Best Practices in Metabolic Syndrome; Pediatric Diabetes; Dermatological Care for Skin of Color.  Emergency Medicine topics include Trauma, Environmental Emergencies; Emergency Medicine in the Time of COVID; Sepsis: Beware the Masquerade; Peds - Cardio & Respiratory Emergencies; Emergency Pain Management; Abdominal Cases. Internal Medicine topics include Update in Acute Stroke Management; Bradykinin Storm Alert from Your COVID-19 Forecast Team; Treatment of Submassive Pulmonary Embolism.

The Conference will be "live" from April 16 -18 and attendees can interact with the faculty and other attendees through the virtual platform's chat feature. The VOC offers flexibility and variety - those unable to "attend" April 16-18, will have until June 30, 2021 - yes ten weeks - to complete their CME on-demand. Osteopathic Grievance Policy: All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.  Initially, all grievances should be directed to MAOPS Executive Director, who will then forward said grievance to the Education & Convention Committee.  All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.  If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.
